I Sit Here Alone

Every day, every night
I sit here alone
Theres an emptiness around
And I shake to the ground
Why these feelings come to today
When I take the ride away
Oh perhaps it could be true
It was wrong to walk on you
But those feelings stand today
So I push you far away
And I'm standing here alone
Singing sighs without the phone

Sometimes, in the dark,
I see a walking spy
And I blink with my eye
There's a sense of camera shy
I close the door right away
And the ghost floats far away
I do often cry
About the emptiness inside

Every day, every night
I sit here alone
Theres an emptiness around
And I shake to the ground
Why these feelings come to today
When I take the ride away
Oh perhaps it could be true
It was wrong to walk on you
But those feelings stand today
So I push you far away
And I'm standing here alone
Singing sighs without the phone

With a candle by head
I shake on my bed
But the sunlight clears the day
I push fears far away
I walk to the shore
I stare forevermore
An anchor to my head
I sink to my bed

Every day, every night
I sit here alone
Theres an emptiness around
And I shake to the ground
Why these feelings come to today
When I take the ride away
Oh perhaps it could be true
It was wrong to walk on you
But those feelings stand today
So I push you far away
And I'm standing here alone
Singing sighs without the phone
